The Old Dominion University Math Festival is a free, non-competitive celebration of great ideas and problems in mathematics and computer science in Hampton Roads.
Math is Everywhere Scavenger Hunt. ODU has partnered with four participants: The Mariners' Museum and Park, Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin, Virginia Living Museum and the Virginia Zoo. At each of the participating location, participants will be able to collect a unique MathFest activity and have the opportunity to be entered into a drawing for one of two Kids Fire Pro tablets by scanning a QR code at each site.
My task was to create partner spot lights for each location for social media to promote the scavenger and advertise the summer long event. The goal is to attract a new audience and promote mathematics and see how math can impact our community.
